I started like everyone else just writing down recipes so I could recreate them in the future.  Soon I was generating collections and self printing them.  In 2000 my Husband and I generated a cookbook of family favorites for our grown children. It was such a hit our friends started asking for a copy so we published it for the general public.

In 2019 my Husband became diabetic. As a recipe creator I started creating new recipes that could provide a healthy diet and stay within his low carbohydrate input. To share our journey with a wider audience  I published the cookbook “Diabetics Can Eat Well”.

Oma Lu is a treasured name from my Grandchildren. Oma is German for grandmother . Lu well, it is a pet name Dwayne who calls me Luci Lu.
